About Us

Garden Court Hotel was established in 1954 and is still run by the same Family. The buldings are Victorian and were built in 1858 by Henry de Bruno Austin. There are many period features and is English Heritage listed. There has recently been an extensive refurbishment.

We have a newly installed Elevator and all bedrooms have direct dial phone, 20 inch LCD Digital Flat Screen Televisions with FREEVIEW, and hair dryers.

There is INTERNET and WiFi access in our lounge. We serve a delicious Buffet Breakfast which is included in the price (there is a small charge for a cooked breakfast). There is also a complimentary selection of hot drinks in our comfortable garden room which is available all day. We have lots of books to swap, borrow or take with you. We offer a currency conversion service on your bill.
